Shirley told TMZ that Netflix’s series about the serial killer was already “super triggering,” and retailers selling Dahmer-inspired clothes only furthers the outrage. The mother happened to be Shirley Hughes, whose deaf son Tony Hughes was among 17 young men murdered by Dahmer. She condemned folks for wanting to buy and wear “evil” Dahmer costumes for Halloween. The move comes just a day after a mother of one of Dahmer’s victims spoke out.
